The Nick Cardilino Band performed
at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland as one of five finalists
in "Real Music", a competition to determine which band will get to play
the main stage at "The Fest" in Cleveland on August 9, 2009. Jars of
Clay will be the featured performer at The Fest, which is an 
outdoor music festival
with a crowd of nearly 30,000 expected. Visit TheFest.us

At the National Conference of Catholic Youth Ministers in Cleveland, Nick plays at the Catholicteria. Tom Booth backs him up on keyboard on "Discover the Way." In the middle of the song, Steve Angrisano comes in and Nick invites him on stage to join in the song, which he does for a great impromptu jam session!

spiritandsong.com flies Nick to Phoenix, AZ to record a video on "Discover the Way" for The Commons, a web show introducing new songs published by spiritandsong/OCP. The video will premiere on the web in June 2009.

The rock version of "Discover the Way" goes to #1 on Soundclick's Christian rock chart and the ballad version goes to #1 on Soumdclick's Christian pop chart.

Nick sings the theme song "Discover the Way" at the National Catholic Youth Conference in Columbus, OH in front of 20,000 people at Nationwide Arena. The song is played and sung 7 other times throughout the conference. The band led by Tom Booth included Joe Hand, Paul Melley, and Ed Bolduc. Choir was led by KAte Cuddy.

“Discover the Way” at the National Conference of
Catholic Youth Ministers in Las Vegas. Playing with them was the house
band led by Kate Cuddy and featuring Bobby Fisher and Gary Daigle. What

chosen as the theme song for the 2007 National Catholic Youth
Conference!

Nick and co-writer Martin Buchanan win the 2006 song write-off
competition with a song they wrote that weekend called "Takin' Time."
Although Nick didn't win the "Survivor" contest nor the "Tunesmith Song
of the Year" contest, his friends did! Eddie Heinzelman won "Survivor"
and the song "Gold Front Tooth" written by Eddie, Eric Measel, David E.
Blowers, and Marc-Alan Barnette won the 2005 "Song of the Year!"
