Thanks for voting! My song won!!!

Here in Dayton, Channels 22 and 45 ran a theme song contest for their "It's Where You Live" series that promotes the Dayton area. I want to thank many of you who voted in the past several months because you have helped my song to win the contest! Check out the cool music video they made of the song!

In other successes, my friend Lorna Hunt, who is an amazing singer-songwriter in our local songwriters group, had one of her songs used in the new CBS drama Miami Medical! Check out this excellent scene and how perfectly her great song accentuated the story!

My friend Dave Smith and I wrote a song two years ago called "Christ Reigns" to enter the National Catholic Youth Conference theme song contest. Our entry got lost in cyberspace. We were very disappointed because we really believed that this song would have had a good shot at being this year's theme song. Not to let a good song go to waste, I entered it into the songdoor.com contest, and we recently learned that we won in the Christian category!!!

Dave and I have just finished a new theme song for the next NCYC with our friend Sean Clive. Keep us in your prayers!
